Switching broadband from Vodafone Broadband

Leaving Vodafone Broadband

How to switch from Vodafone Broadband

If you are switching between broadband providers that don't use the same Openreach phone network (i.e. a broadband provider that is mobile, cable or fibre only), you will need to manually cancel your broadband service with Vodafone Broadband.

Vodafone Broadband will confirm with you the exact date that your contract will end, and the amount of the final bill. Note that if you are leaving before your minimum contract term is up then there is usually an early termination fee for ending your contract early.

To avoid being without any broadband service during the switch over period, ensure your new broadband starts on or before the date that your old service ends.

About Vodafone Broadband

Vodafone is a UK internet service provider (ISP) and mobile network operator (MNO) that offers Mobile, Landland, Broadband, and TV services within the United Kingdom.

Vodafone Broadband offers both standard fibre broadband (Fibre to the Cabinet or FTTC) and full fibre broadband (Fibre to the Premises or FTTP) for ultra-fast speeds.

When you choose FTTP broadband, a fibre-optic cable is installed from the street cabinet right into your property, giving you better broadband speeds, compared to an FTTC connection, where copper cables carry the signal from the cabinet to your home.
